The Solution to Your Struggle – Citizenship in the Kingdom

To experience the highest levels of spiritual life and fulfill their potential, believers must move beyond secular reasoning and embrace Kingdom concepts taught by Jesus Christ. The fundamental difference between success in the world and success in God’s plan is revelation—the highest level of spiritual insight that grants dominion and assures victory.

The Priority of Revelation: Seeing is Receiving

The principle governing the transfer of divine blessings is sight and revelation. You cannot take delivery of what you cannot see.

The Asset of Revelation

Mankind, since the Fall, has relied heavily on information. However, in the Kingdom, whoever has revelation is going to dominate and will be “on top,” even exceeding those with high levels of natural education (e.g., 15 PhDs).

Revelation is considered the most valuable asset in the school of faith. The Word of God must be taken through a process so it transfers from the head down into the heart; otherwise, believers remain stagnant. The enemy, Satan, seeks to blind the mind (2 Corinthians 4:4) because he knows all of God’s provision is already yours.

Seeing Your Destiny Confirms Peace

To avoid frustration and failure caused by people lacking faith, believers must keep a perfect picture of where they are going. This practice of seeing one’s destiny provides profound internal peace.

  • Jesus’ Example: Jesus demonstrated this principle, enduring the cross and despising the shame for the joy that was set before Him. He saw His destiny clearly, knowing that though He would be arrested, beaten, spit on, and killed, He would rise again in three days.
  • Joseph’s Guidance: Joseph received multiple dreams from God that showed his future—his brothers bowing down to him. This was God’s plan confirmed ahead of time.
  • The Holy Spirit’s Job: A primary role of the Holy Spirit (known in Greek as koinonia, or partner) is to see the believer’s future and show it to them, guiding them from their current position to God’s intended destination.

When this vision is received, there is a peace inside of you that confirms your destiny, allowing you to move forward even when people try to harass you.

The Requirement for Receiving Inheritance

Jesus died to provide a vast inheritance, including power, riches, and honor—all of which belong to the believer. However, you are not going to get what you can’t see.

This principle was established early: after Lot separated from Abraham, God commanded Abraham to “lift up now thine eyes, and look” northward, southward, eastward, and westward, promising, “all the land which you see to thee will I give it”. Revelation brings a revolution and transmits ownership.

Kingdom Authority: Speaking It Into Existence

God created the world with words, speaking “light be,” and light was, demonstrating that He first had something formed inside of Him before He spoke it out. Believers are called to imitate Him and reach the highest level of spiritual life: to speak things into existence.

The Danger of Self-Effort

The transition from the old covenant method to the Kingdom method requires shifting from physical action to declarative speech.

  • Moses’ Error: When the Israelites needed water the first time, God instructed Moses to strike the rock. But the next time, God commanded him to speak to it. Moses, frustrated and angry, called the people rebels and struck the rock instead of speaking. Water still came out, but it was not the will of God, and consequently, Moses lost the privilege of entering the Promised Land.

Miracles, signs, and wonders, which believers are made for, come from Kingdom concepts, requiring supernatural direction, not natural effort.

Supernatural Strategy in Action

The Kingdom of God is a supernatural kingdom with a government, a King, and a defined domain or territory. Believers must understand they are operating within this domain.

When the pastor faced drug dealers operating in the church’s domain, the response was not secular (contacting the police) but supernatural, demonstrating trust in higher resources.

  • Seeking Direction: The leader prayed in the Holy Ghost (speaking in tongues) to dip into the inner well and pull up wisdom.
  • Receiving Revelation: God revealed a specific action: blessing a bottle of oil and instructing a desperate parishioner to pour it down the middle of her street. The action was guided by sight (“I could see it”).
  • The Result: Following the Holy Ghost’s instructions, the drug dealers came out for one hour the next day and never came back, fulfilling the promise that God’s Word will accomplish what He pleases. The believer must be mindful of the supernatural resources, including the Holy Ghost, the anointing, and an army of angels.
