things the cup Bearer and the baker for the king the Pharaoh the king of Egypt offended their lord the king of Egypt and Pharaoh was furious with his two officials the chief cup Bearer and the chief Baker so he put them in prison In The House of the captain of The Bodyguard in jail the same place where Joseph was imprisoned so Joseph now is a Stranger in a Strange Land imagine what it’s like to be him he he’s he’s the only one he’s a Hebrew in Egypt his family has rejected him totally he’s alone he’s got nothing he we don’t know
when he learned the language but he comes there probably not knowing the language he’s a slave falsely all that and now he’s in Pharaoh’s prison and now the plot is going to begin to turn so Joseph now is in that prison it says look at verse four and the captain of The Bodyguard put Joseph in charge of them and he took care of them and they were in confinement for some time now Joseph even though he’s in prison he becomes like the the one who’s overseeing the prison even as a prisoner and so here now he’s in charge over the
former the former Baker and the the cup bearer of the king somehow they offended maybe that that one didn’t bake it well whatever it is the Pharaoh was Master he could do whatever he wanted and so they come to him one day and they said verse eight they said to him we have had a dream and there’s nobody to interpret it then Joseph said to them do not interpretations belong to God tell it to me please so the chief cup Bearer told his dream to Joseph and said to him in my dream behold there was a Vine in front of me and on the vine were three
