The Cosmic Salesman – Learning To Spot The Enemy’s Tactics In Your Life!
The enemy is an expert salesman. He knows how to speak your language and so he can even frame things like adultery [music] in Christian lingo. Now in the world there are you know money is a big thing in the world and there are people who try to get your money but they have to get you to give your money.
Now, there’s legitimacy with that and there’s legitimate sales and and if you are a salesperson, I’m assuming you’re an honest, upstanding one. The thing is, the enemy in that sense is a salesperson. He’s trying to sell you something. He’s trying to get you to give something. And we’re going to look at those tactics. And it starts in the Bible with the Garden of Eden, Genesis 3.
It says, “Now the serpent was more cunning than the other creatures of the field which the Lord had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat from the tree of the garden?” The woman said to the servant, “Well, from the fruit of the tree is the garden, we we can eat, but from the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God said, you shall not eat of it or touch it, or you will die.
” The serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die. For God knows that on the day you eat of it, your eyes are going to be opened and you’re going to become like God, knowing good and evil.” Now look at that right there because the enemy is using these things against you. This is the first sin.
This is what messed up everything. He come as a advocate like like he’s helping them. I God really is not I’m I’m going to help you with this. Uh he hides the price of what’s going to happen to them. He appeals to their hunger. He appeals to their eyes. He appeals to the moment. All these things are used in selling. Now, now I want to look at specific things.
