The Book Of Revelation Final Mystery Of The Ezekiel Decoder
Ezekiel is seeing a vision of the temple of the millennial kingdom. The millennium when Messiah will rule. The millennial kingdom is a shadow of the eternal kingdom that is shown in revelation. What John is seeing is the eternal. Then I saw thrones. They sat on them. Judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus.
And because of the word of God, those who hadn’t worshiped the beast or his image, they hadn’t received the mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life and they reigned with Messiah for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.
So Ezekiel is the book of the Hebrew scripture that has the resurrection and of God’s people. And then you have the resurrection at the end also linked to restoration. What happens to Israel and Ezekiel? In Ezekiel 34, it says, “The Lord God says, behold, verse 11, I myself will search for my sheep. I will look after them as a shepherd cares for his flock on a day when he’s among the scattered sheep.
I’ll care for my sheep. I’ll rescue them from the places where they were scattered. And I will bring them from all the nations, gather them from all the countries, bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel by the streams in all the inhabited places. God is saying in the last days I’m going to gather Israel from the ends of the earth as a shepherd gathers his flock and I’m going to keep them and I’m going to lead them to streams of water. Okay. Revelation 7 16.
They will no longer be hungry or thirsty nor will the sun beat down on them or any scorching heat. For the lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd and will guide them to springs of water and God will wipe away their tears from the restoration of Israel. You have this on a cosmic level. Then comes Ezekiel 38 that says after Israel is restored to the lamb there’s going to be an invasion.
