What Does It Take For God To Use Us?

• And all of us want to be used of God. It validates us, makes us feel like that God is pleased with us. But it doesn’t happen with everyone. And I think that there are reasons why. And I think that God has some requirements that he demands of us for us to uh be used by God. And um I wrote this down because I think it’s true.
• I I think that obviously we feel like God works with us, but I think that the way that God works with us is he works through us. God doesn’t need our help. God just needs our willingness. And uh I like this verse that goes with the fact that God works in us. He works through us. Philippians, it says, “For it is God which workketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.
• ” And so, uh, I think anything that that happens that advances the kingdom of God, uh, it’s God that does it. And, um, I think one of the first requirements that God has to see in us for him to use us or flow through us, you know, the Bible says, “Out of our belly shall flow rivers of living water.” is God demands that we be righteous. And uh more than once the Lord says this.
• He says, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” And how can two walk together except they agree? And so for God to walk with us and God to live in us and God to flow out of us, he needs people that are like him. So being holy or being righteous is just simply us coming into unity with the nature of the Lord. Um [clears throat] I’m going to just give you some some thoughts on what it takes for um God to to use us and to flow through us.
