Welcome to KCMI TV! Thank you for joining me today. First and foremost, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas! Truly, the Lord has given our nation a great gift in recent weeks, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
Today, I want to discuss a topic that none of us fully understand and over which we have no control—death. Yesterday, my wife and I reflected on this because, 58 years ago, I buried my father. Coincidentally, it was also the anniversary of my wife’s mother’s passing. These moments remain fresh in our hearts, reminding us of life’s fragility.
Death is something we all dread. Every one of us has experienced loss in some way—whether it’s burying a parent, a spouse, a child, or a dear friend. I lost my father at the age of 12, and just a few years ago, we buried our eldest son. The pain of losing loved ones is profound. However, I believe the Bible offers us insight that can bring comfort and understanding.
