Praise the Lord! I’m so glad you joined me today. I want to talk about something that affects us all—burdens and worries. Today’s key verse comes from 1 Peter 5:7, which says:
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
I love this verse because it doesn’t say to cast some of your cares—it says to give all your worries to God. The word care here refers to worries, anxieties, and concerns.
Jesus Himself reminds us in John 16:33,
“In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
As believers, we face spiritual battles that others may not. We are in the world, but we are not of the world. The enemy seeks to weigh us down with worry, but God instructs us to surrender our burdens to Him.
