Look at what you’re doing just by [music] getting in the word. It may not feel or seem like anything’s happening, but over a period of time, your thoughts are challenged.

Let’s have a little review. Selfdeception. It It’s when someone convinces convinces themsself of something that isn’t true. They convinces themselves of something that isn’t true or avoids acknowledging the truth they find uncomfortable. Now I said, “Now wait a minute. It’s time to deal with this.

What is truth? What is truth?” All right, let’s let’s let’s take it from a general place. At its core, truth is reality. the way things actually are. Regardless of the perception or regardless of the opinion, truth is reality the way things actually are. But biblically speaking, truth is closely tied to God’s nature. [snorts] Remember in uh John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way.

” Jesus said, “I am the truth.” Jesus said, “I am the life. Meaning truth is both a person, Christ, and the foundation of all existence. It even goes deeper than that. The things that are seen are temporal or temporary. The things that are unseen are eternal. Truth goes beyond what you can see because it’s God. And anytime you try to discover truth and omit God, then you’re not going to get what full truth is all about.
