A man once immigrated to America without knowing how to speak English. He was terrified of failing and embarrassing himself in public. Determined to overcome his fear, he hired an English tutor and said, “I just want to learn how to order food in a restaurant without humiliating myself.”
The tutor reassured him, “It’s simple. Just remember these three words: Hamburger, French fries, and Coke.”
The man practiced diligently and, after mustering enough courage, walked into a restaurant. Sweating nervously, he approached the counter and carefully said, “Hamburger.”
