Israel, Islam, and Bible Prophecy

The current global climate is defined by intense rhetoric and a propaganda war against the existence of Israel. This conflict is not merely political but existential and spiritual, as global voices, often fueled by biased media, question Israel’s right to the land. For believers, navigating this requires biblical grounding and an unwavering commitment to truth over rumor or emotion.

The Existential Crisis: Why Israel’s Neighbors Hate Its Existence

The general feeling among Israelis, particularly after the devastating events of October 7th, is that the problem facing them is not political but relates to their very existence.

The argument that Israel must share the land or that Zionism is solely about hard work, separate from God, has been refuted by reality. Even peace-loving liberal Israelis were among those massacred on October 7th by the very people they supported. Terror organizations operating around Gaza view every single Israeli as an illegal settler, regardless of where they live.

When anti-Israel protestors chant “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” the sources stress that this slogan means no Jews have any right to anything from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

Setting the Historical Record Straight

A major argument used against Israel is that the nation has “only been around since 1948”. This argument relies on ignorance of recorded history and facts.

The True Meaning of “Palestine”

The term “Palestine” has nothing to do with Arabs or Muslims and did not exist when Islam was founded.

  • Roman Humiliation: The term was coined by the Roman emperor Hadrian in 135 AD after the Jewish revolt. Hadrian used it to humiliate the Jews by naming their land after their ancient enemies, the Philistines.
  • Jewish Identity: For centuries, it was the Jews who called themselves Palestinians because of the Roman term, not the Arabs.
  • Historical Proof: Archaeological findings consistently confirm that Jews were in the land. When the Jews gained sovereignty in 1948, the first thing they did was change the name to Israel.

International and Legal Legitimacy

The right of the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland has been legally recognized long before 1948.

  • Fisal-Weizmann Agreement: Prior to 1948, Arab leaders (like Fisal) signed an agreement acknowledging that Jews were returning to their ancestral homeland.
  • Balfour Declaration & San Remo Convention: The British government’s Balfour Declaration acknowledged Palestine as the Jewish homeland. In 1920, the League of Nations’ San Remo Convention took the Balfour Declaration and established it as binding international law.
  • United Nations Recognition: The UN Charter includes the Palestine clause, confirming the prior international recognition. The sources note that the UN’s disproportionate number of condemnations against Israel confirms that they know Israel exists as a legal, binding nation.

God’s Irrevocable Covenant with Israel

The Bible affirms Israel’s permanence, making denial of its existence a rejection of Scripture.

  • Returning in Unbelief: The Bible states that the Jewish people would return to their own land in unbelief (atheistic). The fact that they were there first is proven by the statement that they would “return”.
  • The Abrahamic Decree: God’s covenant with Abraham—the Israel decree—is irrevocable and was not conditioned upon performance (unlike the Mosaic covenant). This promise included three things: land, seed, and blessing.
  • Never Uprooted: God assures that once Israel is back in their own land in the last days, they will never again be uprooted. The world will continue to hate Israel due to its exclusive set of divine promises.
  • Purpose of Blindness: Paul explains that God committed Israel to temporary disbelief so that Gentiles (non-Jews) could obtain mercy through their disobedience.

The Rise of Antisemitism and Spiritual Deception

The hatred directed toward Israel is spiritual and demonic. This spiritual hatred is manifesting through modern platforms like TikTok, which is cited as a fertile ground for radicalizing young generations to equate “Jew equals evil”.

The Collision with Islam

The current spiritual war is leading the world toward a collision course with Islam.

  • Ezekiel War Prophecy: The sources suggest the Ezekiel War (led by Russia and radical Islamic elements like Iran and Turkey) will lead radical Islam to an end, not through the IDF, but through supernatural intervention by the God of Israel.
  • Antichrist Vacuum: This crushing defeat will leave hundreds of millions of Muslims seeking a new hope, which will become the fertile ground for the rise of the Antichrist.
  • The Mahdi vs. The Antichrist: Islamic eschatology (the expected Mahdi who brings peace and prosperity) perfectly aligns with the deceptive plan of the Antichrist.

Christian Vulnerability

The most concerning development is the disappointment in Christians who are being easily deceived and are increasingly relying on feelings versus the Bible.

  • Shaking and Sifting: Events like COVID, the rise of the social gospel (e.g., Black Lives Matter), genderism, and abortion issues have all led up to the current debate over Israel, which is viewed as a major issue of debate. This period is seen as God shaking and sifting the church, separating the true believers from the false.
  • Lack of Foundation: Many Christians are vulnerable because they lack Old Testament foundation. The only way to prove the New Testament is true is by examining what was prophesied in the Old Testament.
