Hey, good morning everybody. Uh really excited to be with you again. I’ve been reading in the Bible like I try to do every morning with a delicious cup of coffee filled with half and half and whipped cream on top. Uh and and a devotional that I’ve been going through. And that’s my hope is that we could meet every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
And Mondays would be a time where I can like Paul said in First Thessalonians, I want to encourage you. I want to comfort you at some of the pain points we’re feeling in our culture and in our families. And I want to urge you to live a life worthy of God. Why? Because he has called us to share in his kingdom and in his glory.
And it’s an exciting time to be alive. But we’ve got to have the right perspective. Today I want to suggest to you that you will be tempted to believe the lie and the delusion that somehow you’re smarter than God and your way is better than his way. We all experience this every single day where God says that we should do this and we’re thinking that’s not realistic.
I mean, I mean, surely God doesn’t uh he didn’t write the Bible in 2025 where we’re now dealing with these kinds of things, with this kind of technology. Uh Jesus never had to deal with that. But remember, God uh is not surprised by anything. He lives outside of time and he anticipates all things when he writes his timeless truths in the scriptures.
