Who Do You Obey? (Hebrews 13:17-19)
-
Well, listen. Who do you obey? You and I definitely obey, but who do we obey? So, in our Bible study for tonight, we’re going to be looking at the fact that you and I ought to obey those who lead us, love us, and guide us in the way of truth. There’s not much of that example going around this world these days.
-
But don’t lose heart because God has his congregations and God has his leaders and his servants and his people. The church is fine according to the Lord. We just need to make sure that we’re being led by people who know the Lord themselves and give us a godly example. So I look forward to you grabbing your Bible and finding out who do you obey? It’s important question. Church family, let’s stand for the reading of the word together.

It’s Hebrews chapter 13, the last chapter of the book. We’re almost done. Uh, in studying today, I almost finished it and then I realized, wait a minute, I’m just not ready to end it yet. Maybe, maybe next week. But we’re right down to the last uh closing verses. And uh, tonight we’ll look at verses 17, 18, and 19. By the way, can you hold your hand up? Just go ahead and hold your hand up. Any hand, doesn’t matter. A hand up.
-
And if you if you name the name of Jesus tonight and your hand happens to be up, you and I are in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ tonight. Did you know that? And as I see this, what a beautiful sight this is, by the way, to see your hands up. We are saying, Lord, here, here we are. Send us because I’m not the minister here at Calvary. You can put your hands down. Poor things.
