The horse starts galloping into the forest out of control and I’m on it and it’s jumping over logs. It’s like a movie, a bad movie. Jumping over logs, jumping over the instructors mouth is open. They’re all mouth open. It’s out of control. I’m scared for my life. My life is flashing before I’m going to die on a horse.
I’m going to have a horse collision. Finally, I don’t know what to do. So, I pull back on the rain and the horse goes up like in the movies and throws me off. [Music] God is saying, “Don’t fear because I am your protection. If I’m your protection, I’m on the almighty. You don’t have to fear. God is your protection.” Number one goes on says to Isaac, “Fear not.
” Why? Because I am with you. God says that a lot. You know what overcomes the fear? The fear of man. The presence of God. God is with me. Wait a minute. God is with me. If God is with me and they’re attacking, they’re attacking God. I have the Almighty with me. So, what do I have to be afraid about? It’s like a it’s like a mouse that has a lion as a friend.
I don’t have to fear many things anymore. God is with me. So, sometimes one of the antidotes is in the midst of the problem, start dwelling on the presence of God. Start dwelling on the medi the meditate on the presence of God. Sometimes to overcome the problem, you got to you got to get your eyes off the problem. Forget about the problem.
Get it onto the presence of God. Get into the presence of God. It says, “I am with you, Isaac. Don’t fear.” and I will bless you. So keep that in mind too. There’s a hope that is an antidote to fear and that is wait he’s going to bless me one way the other in this even this is going to bless me in the end.
So why am I fearing it? Why am I fearing it? The more you hold on to that you’re not going to fear in every situation. It says here it says Psalm 23. You know this. It says I will fear no evil. >> What’s that? Why? Why? Because the Lord is my shepherd. Amen. >> I shall not want and I shall not fear any evil because even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I’m in a tough situation.
I’m in a a terrible a scary situation, you are with me. Your rod and staff, they comfort me. Be confident. He is my protector. He’s my provider. He’s my shepherd. >> If if a if a sheep doesn’t have a shepherd, it’s going to be afraid. It’s going to be it’s going to be full of anxiety. But if you got a shepherd, it’s good. Fear not.
