Walking by Faith – From the Pastor’s Heart Podcast
Welcome to From the Pastor’s Heart, featuring the timeless teachings of Dr. Charles Stanley. Let me ask you something. As you look ahead at the new year, do you hope to be a bit bolder, more confident, even about following God’s path for you? I know I do. It’s It’s not always easy, but thankfully, God doesn’t expect us to grow all at once.
It’s a process that he leads us through each day. And once we observe God’s faithful leading, we begin to trust him more and more. Well, today I’m excited to share with you a bit of what Dr. Stanley learned through his walk of faith as we explore this month’s from the pastor’s heart letter. With me today is Gary.
He’s our production manager at InTouch. Hey, Gary. >> Hello. >> Gary, uh, you’re a production manager. You’re a cinematographer, lighting director. Uh, tell us a little bit about this role that you have. Well, uh, vocationally I’m a director of photography and what that means is, um, I’m a lighting cameraman, but at in touch my, uh, title is a production manager.
And that just means I have a staff of other cinematographers, directors of photography that do the same thing as I do. >> And I’ve had the privilege of being with you and and the team. And it is an impressive thing to see you guys set up for a shot whether it’s indoor with an interview or or out ofdoors. I remember a couple years ago we were in uh Canada during a snowstorm and that was that was a lot of fun to watch you try to catch the light off the snow drifts.
>> Yeah. Well, I mean, when you have something like that, we call that production value, added production value, like the snow, it just creates uh something of interest to look at beyond what you’re trying to capture. In most cases, it’s it’s beautiful. I mean, we all see it when we watch a movie or a TV show and the scene is taking place in the snow.
