Well, today marks a historic moment in the Middle East. For the first time in years, the guns have gone silent. People are rejoicing. The skies over Israel are calm. The rockets have stopped flying in. And the hostages on both sides are finally coming home. I’m sure you’ve seen the videos. They’re very moving.
I don’t know how long that this piece is going to last. It maybe for days, maybe weeks, hopefully much longer. But for now, the fighting has stopped. And for me, that alone is something to thank God for. Before we dive in, make sure you hit the subscribe button and turn on the notifications so you don’t miss these weekly conversations where faith meets real life.
Today’s episode is sponsored by Chapter. For those of you who haven’t noticed, it’s Medicare annual enrollment again. Uh I’m not even old enough to get Medicare, and even I am getting flooded with the mailers and the texts that are pushing this plan or that one. It’s uh it’s overwhelming and while it’s easy to just tune it all out, this is one Medicare message you actually need to hear. So, the truth is Medicare plans can change every year.
And in 2026, Part B premiums are going up while many Medicare Advantage plans are disappearing altogether. So, that means that even if you like your plan today, your costs could rise or worse, you could lose the coverage that you have for doctors, prescriptions, or treatments that you depend on. So, that’s why I recommend Chapter.
Chapter is unique in that they are the only advisors that search every plan nationwide to make sure that you’re on the one that best fits your needs. On average, they’re saving people $1,100 a year and sometimes a lot more. So, if you’re already on the best fitting plan for 2026, great. You’re set.
But if not, they will help you switch before the costs go up. And it doesn’t take long. It’s 20 minutes max. Chapter can review all of your options. No gimmicks, no pressure, just straightforward, honest help. So, call Chapter today and feel confident in your 2026 Medicare coverage.
This is the day that people across the region and around the world have been working, striving, hoping, and praying for. They have done things over the last month that I think were really unthinkable. Nobody thought this could happen. With the historic agreement we’ve just signed, those prayers of millions have finally been answered. As you know, the hostages have been returned and further work goes on having to do with the sadly to say bodies.
Together, we’ve achieved what everybody said was impossible. At long last, we have peace in the Middle East. And it’s a very simple expression, peace in the Middle East. and we’ve heard it for many years, but nobody thought it could ever get there. And now we’re there. Let’s pause to appreciate what just happened this week.
After years of heartbreak, a ceasefire has been declared in the Middle East. People thought it would never happen, but we’re seeing the videos. Hostages have been released. Families are reuniting. It is just so moving, so emotional. And for at least this moment, the noise of the war has turned into the sound of relief. Now, I know that there are a lot of opinions about this and I understand that I don’t know everything and every reason behind the ceasefire.
Maybe it’s partly political. Surely it is. Maybe it’s strategic, economically, militarily. Maybe it’s partly just exhaustion. I don’t have all of the answers, but whatever the reason, I’m grateful and I’m thankful for the leadership that helped bring it about. Love them or hate him, President Donald Trump once again stepped into a nearly impossible situation.
