you know i find it amazing the lord said who who will build a house for me and then he says unless the lord builds the house labor in vain who’s going to build a house for me and he says oh yeah unless i build it you guys are laboring in vain so who’s going to build that house where’s the house you’re going to make for me i know we had solomon’s temple we had that’s not what he was looking for he’s looking for us to be that house that he builds and the foundation of our house is the rock amen the rock founded and grounded
on jesus it’s the revelation of christ this is the rock that i’m going to build my church and i don’t know if you know it or not but the church is in the building it’s a people it’s a people it’s a people the bible says that you and i are living stones being built up into a spiritual temple actually all of us are living stones and still the the foundational stone has to be christ the reality of the revelation of what christ has done because it never changes and it will keep you steadfast in the midst of everything
jesus said at the end of the beatitudes shared all these different things that we need to be not do but the attitudes of being and he says he who hears these sayings of mine and does them i will liken him to the wise man that builds his house upon the rock it’s amazing how all of it goes together but jesus said hearing and doing is the wise man but hearing and not doing is one who’s built his house on sand and when the storms come because he said you’re going to build your house on the rock and you’re going to build your
