How you take a bunch of fishermen who were who would have lived their lives we never would have heard of them and they become the most famous people in the world. Why? Because they just said yes to him. They were touched by him. They went with him. They went with him and they became changed. How could they write [Music] this? 2 John 5:20.
And we know the son of God has come and given us understanding in order that we might know him who is true and we are in him who is true and and in his son Yeshua Jesus Messiah this is the true God and eternal life. The New Testament proclaims over and over again and then you have clearly I mean in all of these Jehovah’s Witness they all say Jesus is the savior.
They’ll all say that, you know, that even Muslims say that Jesus is the Messiah, but they don’t understand it. But they’ll say that. And then it, but listen to this. In Isaiah 43:1, it says, “Beside me, this is Lord, beside me, there is no savior. I am Yahweh the Lord.” What’s it saying? It’s saying there is no other savior but God.
Now, it’s clear that the same Hebrew scriptures are prophesying that Messiah is going to come and he’s going to save his people. He’s going to be the savior. But here it says there’s only one savior, God. Well, it’s right there. The only How do you do that? Who’s The only way is Messiah is Lord. That’s it. And it’s not just Lord.
The word is Jehovah. It is clear. Now, what a radical message. Think about what a radical message this is. I mean this is I mean the fact that it’s so radical to begin with. Number this is such a radical faith. I like the fact that we have a radical faith because we have a radical God. But that’s awesome enough.
But even more amazing is that Jewish people are the ones giving it to the world. The ones who say from birth, Shama Israel Adonai, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And they’re the ones who’d be most careful to avoid any hint of anything that went to an inch to the right or the left. And they are saying this is our God.
All the more the claim, what on earth could have led these God-fearing, reverent Jewish people to believe and proclaim that which other would be blasphemy unless it was the truth to declare a radical notion that Adonai Yahweh the Lord came into the world and drank with us and wept with us and lived with us and was crucified. Think about that.
That’s gigantic. But think about this. They lived with him for three years. Every day, morning, noon, and night. And at, think about this. And at the end of those years, they called him God. Now, think about that just for a think about it for a moment. If he made just one mistake, that’s over. Imagine being with someone.
