I love that. Absolutely what we’re all about here at the American Campfire Revival. Um I’ve got my little funsized bonfire again tonight. I’m going to beat the heat uh by not making a massive one here. Uh unlike this summer when we’re going to be gathering all across the nation as I um pull back the curtain and reveal to you what I’ve been working on, which is live inerson bonfire gathering revivals all across the nation and in some of your backyards.
not just mine, so that we can have a night of revival under the stars and pray and worship together and talk about how to bring the power of God working through the hearts of the family of faith to the entire nation and and and experience the kind of freedom and blessing that we’re longing for. And we want our kids to be able to know.
So, uh, hold out your candle, run to the darkness for everyone to see. Take your candle and go light your world. Love this song. Love this song by Chris Rice. Well, listen. Um, I’m going to, uh, take some time here for us to be able to pray. I think this is the most powerful thing that we can be doing. The most powerful thing that you’re looking at here is um is the family of God coming to our creator by faith, humbling ourselves, recognizing that we’re not sufficient in and of ourselves to be able to change anything. We can’t even change ourselves
without the power of God, let alone our families and our nation. And so let’s assume a position of of humility and ask God to forgive us of the things that we’ve done that have contributed to the brokenness in our homes, in our nation, and in our world. and and and nourish our hearts and souls and help us to produce the kind of fruit of love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and goodness and courage and bravery and integrity.
Men and women of conviction who can go light the world with the fire that God’s placed in our hearts. Let’s pray and ask for heaven’s help as we uh as we get started tonight. Our father in heaven, we we thank you that we live in this country. It’s the greatest country in the history of the earth because we have an opportunity to see how the principles in your word that produce freedom for any person regardless of color, race, gender, nationality, uh age, socioeconomic position.
Anyone can experience internal and external freedom when your principles are are valued and cherished and celebrated and defended. Dear God, I thank you for this this nation. And I recognize along with my brothers and sisters that a nation is only as strong as its moms and dads and husbands and wives.
