The Kingdom Within You – Living From The Inside Out

Dr. Bill Winston’s teaching, “The Kingdom Within You – Living From The Inside Out,” reveals that everything a believer needs is already provided and loaded inside the Kingdom of God, which resides within them. This message equips believers to live independent of the world’s system and exercise dominion over it.

The goal is to shift from seeking external supply to drawing upon the inexhaustible supply located within the Kingdom.

Accessing Your Inexhaustible Supply

God has already provided everything a believer could ever need or want in this life. When God sends a believer somewhere, they do not need to beg somebody for anything. The abundance is loaded within the Kingdom.

1. The Kingdom is Your Supply: The Kingdom of God is in you. This means all needs will be met, regardless of what is happening in the world. Believers can enjoy a powerful peace knowing this truth.

2. Living from the Inside Out: Believers are meant to live from the inside out. Their actions and life are based on the reality of the Kingdom within them.

Dominion Mandate: Produce, Multiply, and Subdue

God created man in His own image and likeness and gave him dominion and authority over the earth. This mandate is laid out in four key actions:

  • Be Fruitful (Produce/Create): This means to produce something that is not already produced, or to create. People are poor not because they lack money or a high-paying job, but because of what they fail to produce or fail to create. To produce, one must first see the finished product in the unseen realm, such as seeing a chair in a tree or milk in a cow.
  • Multiply (Increase Production): Whatever is produced must be increased.
  • Replenish (Redistribute): Replenish means to perpetually renew and supply, but specifically, to redistribute. Whether in business or ministry, if inventory sits without distribution, the enterprise risks going bankrupt.
  • Subdue (Dominate the Market): To subdue the earth means to dominate the market or your industry. Believers are supposed to be the leader in their industry, reflecting the divine mandate of dominion.

Transformation Through Face Time and Meditation

To access the Kingdom within, the believer must undergo transformation, which starts by looking into the Word of God—the spiritual mirror—and meditating on it. This process is crucial for becoming a “speaking spirit like God”.

1. Changing Your Image (2 Corinthians 3:18): By beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, believers are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  • Meditation and Transformation: Looking in the Word a long time and meditating on what it says transforms how a believer thinks.
  • Attracting What You Are: Believers do not attract what they want; they attract what they are. When the divine image is built inside, the believer is designed to attract that reality.

2. Being Under the Influence: When a believer meditates the Word enough, they move to a stage where they are no longer holding on to the promise, but the promise is holding on to them.

  • Faith Takes Over: True, God-kind of faith puts a person under the influence.
  • Outside of Logic: When Jesus’ friends heard of His actions, they sought to restrain Him because they said He was “besides Himself,” or, in the CEV translation, “He’s crazy“. The lack of miracles is partially attributed to people not yet being under the influence of the Word.

The Power of the Word and the Spirit

1. Faith Only Comes From the Word: All faith only comes from the Word. Trying to act on faith based on something outside the Word (like a TV character’s abilities) will lead to failure. An experience shared by Dr. Winston illustrates this: attempting to fly off a garage roof failed because the belief was based on television, not the Word of God.

2. The Royal Nature: Righteous believers see themselves as royalty, kings, and owners. They possess the same nature of God—a nature that never turns away from anything.

3. Creation and Restoration: Man was given the power God used to create all matter so he could bring forth the Garden of Eden everywhere he went.

  • The Blessing Fixes the Curse: The blessing was given to fix the curse, and it is the only thing that can genuinely fix it.
  • Supernatural Provision: The Kingdom within provides a supply for anyone a believer contacts who needs to see the Kingdom. For example, Jesus healed the maimed (those without a limb) by drawing the necessary supply from the Kingdom to give them a new limb.
