One of the things we love about conferences is the people we get to connect with, the speakers we learn from, and the friendships we build. One of our dear friends is Lisa Harper, author of 12 books, a renowned speaker, and a true blessing to be around.
“I really can’t express enough how thankful I am to be here today. I have such deep respect for Pastor John, Pastor Brandon, Pastor David, and Pastor Savannah. Being here at James River with my sister from another mister, Debbie, is such an honor. It’s like being a donkey at the Kentucky Derby—I’m so excited to be here this morning. Thank you for having me back!
I also want to send a special congratulations to our campuses in the South, West, North, and Joplin. I’m a bit of a spitter, so prepare yourselves—there may be some splash zone moments at the South campus today, while you all at other campuses are safe from the moisture. It’s a spit-free Sunday for you, but we’re diving deep into baptism here in the South, and as a sweater, spitter, and postmenopausal woman, there’s a good chance of getting wet if you’re seated near the front!
