The Genesis Bride & Bridegroom Mystery of Your Life
God the Father, God the Son. Abraham is called to offer up Isaac as a sacrifice, a test. So the father will offer up the son as a sacrifice, Jesus Messiah. After the offering of the son, after the father offers up his son, what happens? Genesis 24, Abraham tells his servant, the one who’s in charge of everything he has, to go back to the land from which Abraham came, and there seek a wife for the son for Isaac.
Let’s translate that into the mystery. So after the offering of the son, the father and the resurrection of the son, the father seeks to find a bride for the son. After the offering of Messiah on the cross, the father now seeks to find the bride. Who’s the bride? You are the bride. What is the next focus of the whole thing? There’s the death, the resurrection, and then there is the finding of the bride.
It’s the bride. You have that. And who is charged with finding the bride? Well, in the story, it’s the servant of Abraham. So, who is in charge of finding the bride? The servant of the father who is the spirit of God. >> Amen. So he is sent by the father and he embarks on a journey and with him he has treasures of the father.
Treasures of Abraham. Gifts from Abraham. So the spirit comes into this world with gifts of the father. Treasures of the father’s house. That’s what the spirit imparts. Treasures of the father’s house. Treasures of heaven. So he goes on the journey with many camels carrying all these riches and they go ends up at a well, a well with water.
