The Feast of Tabernacles

• Happy Sunday. Go ahead and text out five people and ask them to join us today. I have a word for you and I’m excited about it. As we get into this word, we are in the final part of God’s most holy atonement season and it’s a great time. Remember, God’s word is your answer. So from Genesis to Revelation, his word tells us the important that God himself put this divine supernatural miracle working season on his calendar. It started September 22nd.
• That was when we had Rashashana. That’s when we had 10 days of all the day of atonement. And now October 6th through the 13th is tabernacles. What is that? It’s all about the joy of the Lord. It’s about God being your provider, your protector, and his presence being with you. And so this is a rehearsal for us as New Testament believers.
• The other two feast seasons have been fulfilled. That is Passover and Pentecost. But as we look to this, we look for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a time to reset. This is a time to divinely align oursel with God, his plan, his purpose. And even though this earth, which is the wilderness, not our promised land, which is the ultimate throne of God, the new Jerusalem, the new earth, the new heaven, that we will dwell with God forever. Think about that.
• That the Lord will come back. He’s going to split that sky wide open. And what do we learn? How to live here? How to honor God? How to prepare oursel? So, just before I get into the word, I want my husband John to minister to you. And you get your heart right.

• Now that emptiness has found you. Close your eyes and pray. Walk from the valley of the shadows. Call for a move of grace to change. Till your mountain, tell your mountain about God. Declare you can move it. You’re a seed of faith is found. That’s the struggle. That’s the struggle you will find.
