The Anti-Apostate: Standing Strong in the Last Days
Yeshua, Jesus, is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He does not change. The world’s going to change. Everybody who puts him down is going to be gone. Every organization’s going to be gone. One day CNN’s going to be gone. MSNBC is going to be gone. They’re all going to be gone. But Jesus will be there.
Will be forever. He’s just as alive and powerful now as he was 2,000 years ago. Those who simply follow the culture, they’re going to change. They’re going to be changed because they have nothing else. >> When you see words change, you know something’s going on. When adultery becomes extrammarital affair, something has happened.
Fornication becomes a pre-marital affair or relationship. Perversity becomes an alternate lifestyle. One’s husband simply becomes now not a wife or a husband but one’s partner because you know why one’s gender becomes a gender choice expression. What was always one’s gender becomes simply what was assigned at birth.
It wasn’t assigned >> right. >> You can’t assign that any more than they could assign you being human. They didn’t assign you that. God made you that way. >> That’s right. Amen. >> It’s a sign. Those who are not grounded in God are going to change. Are given to change because that’s what happens. The Bible says friendship with the world is emnity from God.
Now that was always the case, but now it’s so more blatantly the case. And you had churches that were, you know, trying to trying to have friendship or be be good, have status with the world, all that. Well, now what’s happening is because the world’s getting so far from God, those churches that were befriending the world have now become apostate >> because they put their foot on the other thing and when the ground shifted, they were there.
>> Y that’s right. Even bornagain churches are softening their stance, many of them, their core beliefs to blend in, wait in favor, avoid problems, join the majority. N we’re not going to we don’t talk about those issues. >> Exactly. >> They’re the issues that are affecting everybody in the congregation and their children.
We’re not going to talk about them. That’s how it starts. Then we’re not going to really call sin sin. >> So what are you going to do? You’re going to end up calling sin holiness. That’s what’s going to happen. >> That’s right. That’s right. Amen. Just today, the news came out the Church of England, though it will not perform same-sex marriages, it will bless same-sex marriages.
So, if a man marries a man in a civil ceremony, goes into the Church of England, they will now bless it. >> Oh, boy. >> Now, just a few years back, the state of England did the state of England, forget about the church, the state of England did not allow this because they said this is wrong. Now the church of England just a few years later is saying, “Well, now we won’t perform it, but we will bless it.” Really? Think about that.
Why won’t they perform it? Because it obviously goes against the Bible so blatantly against God, but we’ll bless it. >> In other words, we’ll bless what goes against God in the Bible. We won’t perform it because it’s a sin, but we’ll bless it. We’ll bless the sin. If someone else does it, if someone else sins, we’ll bless the sin.
>> What is that? If you can bless it, then how can you not perform it? If you can’t perform it, how can you bless it? >> Mark my words. In a little time, they will be performing it. That’s how it goes. >> That’s how change happens. That’s how apostasy each is a step away from God. And it’s certainly not the church, just the church of England.
You can see that on brazen display in much of American churches, the Episcopal church, Lutheran church, Methodist church, Presbyterian. And I’m not saying everybody who’s part of it or every congregation is apostate, but many of the the denominational directions have gone in that direction. Yes, they have. >> You know, I once told you there are now more witches in America than there are Presbyterians.
>> But I’m not sure how bad that trade-off is cuz at least the witches know they’re against God. [laughter] Now I’m sure again there are remnants and there are there are great people in these denominations but much of the denomination has gone into apostasy because they changed with the world. If the original founders of these churches, John Knox, John Wesley, Luther, if they saw they wouldn’t call them churches, they’d say these are just this is just blasphemy.
