Lord, quiet everything but You – A Short Prayer

Thank You for the precious gift of a new week. My heart finds comfort and joy in knowing that You see me, You know me, and You fully understand all that I am facing in this season of my life.

Please continue to inspire and strengthen me on this journey. Bless me with a peaceful mind, a purpose-driven heart, and a faithful soul—one that chooses to believe, to hope, and to stand firm no matter what comes my way.

Father, walk with me always. Never let me drift far from You, and gently draw me back whenever I begin to lose my way. Guard my heart, Lord, so that fear, laziness, self-doubt, and anger will not take root within me.

Guide me to live this entire week with a heart overflowing with love, renewed energy, deep joy, and sincere gratitude.
I come before You this morning with a heart overflowing with gratitude. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and for the countless blessings that surround me each day. In the simplest moments—the sunlight through my window, the laughter of loved ones, and the quiet peace of Your presence—I see Your hand at work.

You are the giver of every good gift, and I do not take Your love or kindness for granted. Lord, I thank You for the peace that comes from knowing You are always in control. No matter what I face today, I rest in the truth of Your Word.

As Scripture reminds me in 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18:
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
