Hey, Cindy. >> Hi, John. So workplace systems this is a very vital uh department in our in our ministry making sure that timelines are running smoothly. Uh you you have a great experience working with within this department right? >> Yes. >> Now Dr. Stanley of course is a very special person around here.

This is his from the pastor’s heart podcast. What’s one of your favorite memories or lessons from Dr. Stanley but and I know you had some very special moments with him. >> Yes. I was very fortunate and blessed to be working alongside Dr. Stanley with his photography um in the ministry and >> Dr.

Stanley would sign all the photographs and I was a part of assisting with that part of the process. >> And this is something I didn’t realize. He was signing the photographs that were ordered by our partners. >> Yes. He signed every one of them. >> Wow. And you would get things together to help him have a good session of of autographing.

>> Yes. I would organize uh the pens that he used for signing and I would organize the time and I would meet him for the signing process. >> That is so great. I didn’t know that about you and the photographs. Well, are you ready for the letter? >> Yes. >> Yeah. I’m excited. I mean, this is one that’s such a wonderful comfort, and Cindy, I wanted you to read it, and our listeners are going to see why in a little bit as we talk. Here’s Dr.

Stanley’s March letter from the pastor’s heart. When your heart feels heavy, your body grows weary, and your emotions leave you utterly drained, where do you turn? All of us will experience seasons like this when we feel hopeless, helpless, and deeply discouraged. These are moments when we wonder how much more can we take.

I’ve been there, and you probably have, too. My friend, at such times, don’t give up. God has a clear and practical answer, no matter what the trouble may be. Jesus the son of God and sovereign of this universe said, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
