your spiritual gift list. What is it? I can say for me personally that God after my salvation, reading the Bible, studying the word of God, going to church, learning and listening that in my life, I began to experience like a stirring, I would say. Now, I didn’t know what was going on during the time, but I was beginning to think Bible doctrine, studying Bible, uh, uh, and boy, it would be amazing someday if I could teach the Bible.
And all of these thoughts, I would actually almost rebuke them because it was so not me. I stuttered really bad and I was just terrified of crowds and getting in front of people. I loved to live in the shadows, if that makes any sense to you, my friends. But listen, the fact of the matter is is that what went on in my life is that God, the Holy Spirit, was making things happen because he wanted to bring about this gift in my life.
It was not natural. And so God has to get all the glory because it’s not human. And so I want to encourage you. You might be thinking today that you’ve got this particular talent or you went to school to learn about this, so that must be it. Not necessarily. Probably not. It’s going to be in such a way that God’s gift for you is one that could be this list that we’re going to be looking at.
The gift of prophecy, serving, teaching, encouragement, giving, healing, and many other gifts listed in the Bible. And we are going to exhaust that list today as we get into the word of God. So listen, I want you to be praying that God would show you what your gift is. Discover your gift, friends.
That is the absolute best thing to do. So, I pray God would just really bring you to the point where you can’t sleep until you find that out. So, let’s dive into our special study right now.
