It is indeed a great honor to stand here before you today. a great honor that an overwhelming honor to be a part of what God is doing in this place. I think back in history and those moments where God has ignited the hearts of men to do things like this and the fruit that it has borne and I’m overwhelmed to think about what God will do as a result of the work that he has begun here in this place.
We didn’t come together to start Founders Seminary because we did market research. We didn’t do this because we believed that somehow if we did we would make a name for ourselves. We didn’t do this because we thought that perhaps doing so would allow us to amass some kind of political power. We did this because we believe that there is a need for an institution that will equip men with sharp minds, warm hearts and steel spines
