• ” How many of you want to be wise? He who wins souls is wise. Listen to me carefully. As a believer, there’s a mandate on your life to win people to the Lord. Sheep begget sheep. Shepherds lead sheep. Now, shepherd is a sheep too and has the responsibility as a believer to lead people to the Lord. I believe so much of Christianity and so much of what we call church, we have lost the main thing.
• The main thing is the gospel of Jesus Christ. The good news is that God so loved you that he sent his only begotten son into a sinful world that had no hope and no way for redemption. And he is the way, the truth, and the life. His name is Jesus. It’s not Confucious. It’s not Muhammad. It’s not Allah. It’s not Buddha. It’s not New Age.
• It’s not anything else that you want to put on it. There is only one truth and that is Jesus Christ. He is the truth. He is the way. He is the life. He conquered death, hell, and the grave so that when he got up, you could get up. He redeemed us to a holy God who could not partake with sin because we were all sinners.
