Ephesians chapter 2 is a beloved passage among Christians. Most believers can easily quote the first ten verses from memory, as they highlight God’s grace, salvation, and the transformation we receive through faith in Christ. However, when we reach verse 11 and beyond, many tend to overlook its significance. But make no mistake—this section is just as powerful, offering deep insights into our identity and unity in Christ.
As we examine these verses, we must ask ourselves: In discussions about social justice, race, and identity, what does God say about us? More importantly, is what God says about us enough?
