The Voice of God

• You’re watching KCMI TV. >> Well, praise the Lord. I’m glad you joined me today. And um sometimes I’ll just, you know, uh sometimes you’ll pull a thread on piece of your clothing and it just keeps unraveling. But I felt like I just kind of touched a a thread here in the scriptures. And uh there’s probably no end if you went from Genesis to Revelations, everything that we could tie in.
• But I wanted to just touch on something that um God dropped in my spirit. And I hope that it’ll help you today. I hope your day is blessed. Uh I like what David said. This is the day the Lord hath made and I choose to rejoice and be glad in it. So, we’re going to read a couple of verses just to give us a starting point.
• Uh, first one’s out of Ezekiel 43 and verse 2. And it says, “And behold, the glory of God of Israel came from the way of the east, and his voice was like the noise of many waters, and the earth shined with his glory. So I really want to extract just the the last part of this verse where it says that God’s voice sounded like the noise of many waters and then it links it with his glory.
• It says and the earth shined with his glory. Now we’re going to go to the last book in the Bible, Revelations chapter 1 and um verse 15. This is where uh you know they they put John in prison on the aisle of Patmas but the Holy Ghost put him in the spirit in heaven and he is seeing this revelation of what Jesus looks like.
• And in verse 15 it says and his feet liken to fine brass as if they burned in a furnace. That’s I’m reading that because that’s in the verse. But this is the part I want you to hear. And his voice was as the sound of many waters. So, and there are other verses that substantiate u this particular thought. But the scripture here is telling us that the voice of God sounded like many waters.
• And and when we say mini water, it’d be like if you go to the ocean and you’re sitting in a chair there on the beach and it’s rough that day and you can hear the waves coming. There’s just a roar that comes out of it. Or you can you can go to a a large park somewhere, a national park, and stand in front of a a mammoth waterfall and there’s just a roar from the sound of the water.
