Welcome to KCMI TV! I hope you’re doing well today. It’s truly an honor to share God’s Word with you. Every week, I’m amazed at how the Lord provides us with a message that speaks directly to our hearts.
Today, I want to discuss something that you might be experiencing right now. Many people believe that inactivity is a sign of weak faith. Those with strong vision and purpose often feel the need to be constantly doing something. However, one of the greatest acts of faith is learning to pause and wait on God.
God operates in seasons, dates, and divine timing. He may place a vision or purpose in your heart, but that doesn’t always mean it’s time to act. A perfect example is Moses. At 40 years old, he knew he was called to deliver the Israelites, but he moved ahead of God’s timing. He still needed 40 years of preparation in the wilderness before stepping into his divine assignment.
Waiting on God can feel exhausting—unless we learn to navigate this season through the Spirit. Isaiah 40:29-31 says:
“He gives power to the weak and increases the strength of those who have no might. Even youths will grow weary, and young men will stumble and fall. But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.”
This passage highlights an important truth: even the strongest among us can grow tired. Life’s challenges can drain us, no matter our physical strength or energy. But the key to endurance is learning to wait upon the Lord.
