You’re watching KCMI TV. Praise the Lord! Let’s dive into today’s message. This week, a verse really stood out to me, and I want to share it with you. Our text comes from 2 Timothy 4:2. I’ll read the entire verse, but I want to focus on one part: “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.” This is Paul speaking to Timothy, urging him to “be ready in season and out of season.”

We all experience times in life when we feel deeply connected to God. Things are going well, the Spirit is moving, and we’re thriving in our calling. But what about the seasons when it feels like God is distant? There are times when we pray, and we can feel God’s presence—maybe our hairs stand on end, or we get goosebumps as we sense His anointing. But then there are times when we’re not praying based on feelings; we’re praying by faith.

Paul tells Timothy to be “instant,” meaning “be prepared and ready,” both in seasons of opportunity and in those that seem to offer none. The term “season” here refers to “opportunity.” So, Paul is saying that we need to be ready not just when opportunities are abundant, but also when it feels like there’s no opportunity at all.

That’s what I want to talk about today—those seasons when it seems like God isn’t moving, whether in our finances, our health, or other areas of life. I want to speak healing over you right now. I declare the healing power of God over your body. I’m tired of the enemy attacking God’s people with sickness and infirmity. In Jesus’ name, I bind that spirit. Right now, as I’m speaking, lay hands on yourself, and I release divine healing upon you in the name of the Lord.
