Praise the Lord! Today, I want to challenge you with a thought that has been on my heart. A few weeks ago, I had a conversation with a fellow minister about life goals. We discussed our deepest desires, and I shared mine: after all these years of serving the Lord, my greatest desire is to be a delight to Him.
The Bible tells us that one day, this world as we know it will be consumed by fire and pass away. Every building we see today will be destroyed. We will live in a completely different environment, whether on the new Earth or in Heaven. Everything will change. Yet, many people spend their lives chasing success, striving to leave a legacy. But in reality, only the generation we live in remembers us. It takes just one generation before most people fade from memory. Only a small number of historical figures are remembered because of their significant achievements.
