Welcome to KCMI TV! Thank you for joining me today. I want to discuss a topic that isn’t often addressed, but it’s something deeply pressing in my heart—deception and how people are being misled.
Lately, we have witnessed a strong spirit of deception sweeping through our nation. Coming out of the recent elections, we saw a stark divide in beliefs between the two presidential candidates. As believers, we rejoice in what God is doing, trusting that He is healing our nation. However, we must also recognize that approximately 68 million people hold belief systems vastly different from those who stand on the Word of God. This reality leaves us wondering—Lord, how did we get here?
Some of the ideologies being embraced today are completely contrary to God’s truth—such as gender confusion, abortion, and moral relativism. But rather than focusing on political debates, I want to address this issue from a spiritual perspective.
Our nation was founded on godly principles, and if our forefathers—who constructed the Constitution with deep faith—could see the current state of affairs, they would be utterly astonished. How did we reach this point? Let’s turn to 2 Thessalonians 2 for insight.
