MY REACTION: Don Lemon Committed A Crime With BLM At A Minnesota Church
-
Hey, I wish I could say I did not predict this. Um, but listen, I’m telling you right now. Um, I I’m not a prophet. I I I I come from a nonprofit organization, but I got to tell you, my friend, uh, this is very predictable. If you know some history, and you might be very surprised as to where this is going to land in our brief time together.
-
I just had to drop this uh with you right now in light of what’s going on. And of course, tragically, the epicenter of insanity, and that is, uh, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minnesota. And so, uh, I want to address this, uh, what happened on Sunday. Maybe some of you do not know. I actually did not know.
-
I was quite busy on Sunday. I didn’t know until after services were over, but uh, knew that, like uh, like everybody else, had to respond to it. And it is this. So, you may or may not be aware, uh, but there was a church service going on, a normal church service, run-of-the-mill church service. There was a church service.
-
It was not a church service, uh, denouncing ICE or supporting ICE. It wasn’t a church service about politics or or to abstain from politics. It was not a church service for any other reason other than a church service on a Sunday morning on private property. All churches are on private property. And that said, this was an average church service going on in Minneapolis, Minnesota until until this happened.
-
And what happened was there was an anti-ICE group, highly organized, we shall see in a moment, uh that decided to h whimsically uh go into that church and break up the church service and take it over. and uh commandeer the service. Remember private property, private property. Outsiders came in to private property to disrupt a religious church service which is against the law.
-
Face act FACE makes that illegal as well as private property trespassing makes it illegal. And so what happened at this was something that we want to discuss in our brief time together. Take a look at this. >> This is unacceptable. It’s shameful. It’s shameful to to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship. So, but >> but there were folks I have to take care of my flock.
-
>> Listen, we live in a there’s a constitution in the first amendment to freedom. [laughter] Don Lemon. You say Don Lemon. You mean from CNN? The guy that got the guy that got canned at CNN. Don Lemon. Oh, is that Don Lemon’s church? No. Don Lemon went to this church that day. Why that day? Because Don Lemon was in the organizational group all staged and cameras ready, cameras rolling to go into a church service.
