Managing Emotions to Avoid Offense – Wednesday Morning Service
-
Hallelujah. Father, we bless you and we come before you, Lord, with great anticipation. We believe, Lord, that what will be done today will be spiritled, spirit ordained. We declare that no flesh will be glorified today in your sight. Lord, we also declare that we are good ground and that the seed of your word will take root, bring forth fruit that is pleasing and acceptable unto you.
-
We give you thanks and praise for being God in our lives in Jesus’ name. And everybody said, “Amen.” Amen. Praise God. Amen. Well, God bless you guys. Why don’t you all greet one another in Jesus name? Amen. Just a holy greeting. And God bless you. You may be seated. Praise God. Well, as always, anytime that I come up here, it is indeed a pleasure to be before you.

Uh I take it as a uh a very um serious thing in terms of of the opportunity to share the gospel with you. Uh want to give honor to Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffy as always, and I thank God for them as being our leaders. Amen. Praise God. So, we’ve been talking about uh offense and offense is is major. You know, it’s it’s mentioned it’s almost like when we mention love in the body of Christ and we’ll we’ll talk about the love of God and people be like, “Oh, that’s good. That’s sweet.
-
Oh, ain’t that nice?” But you don’t realize that you’re talking about the most powerful thing in the world in the universe when you’re talking about the love of God. But equally, I think we underestimate this this sin of offense because it seems to wiggle its way into so many aspects of our lives and we would have taken it on without realizing that we’ve actually taken it on.
-
Um, you ever seen uh, you know, you’re you’re walking around and you’re feeling this pain on your body and then you realize, “Oh man, I got a there’s a bump there or it’s a cut there or something.” You’ve been walking but you didn’t realize that it was actually there. There are certain things that can be happening to you that you don’t realize until you kind of get in your birthday suit and it’s exposed.
-
You know what I’m saying? You actually see it in, you’re like, “Oh, how long that’s been there.” That’s the way it is with offense. offense can get on you uh and you not really realize that it’s on you or that you’re walking in it because it can be subtle in times and then it can be in your face in times. But either way, it’s still a fence and it still has the same type of effect on you.
