We are changed to give one’s body entirely to God. To be burned out in service for him. To deny oneself all the things that are pleasant to man. To deny oneself of all the things that are pleasant to man. To to deny oneself of all the things that are pleasant to man. For his sakes. It seems to man a most unreasonable thing and yet it is called a reasonable service.

So why should anyone GIVE GIVE UP ALL that is pleasing in this world if God so wills and live solely to please him? That should be the question of a human. Why should I give all THIS UP TO SOLELY please him? And in addition to the sacrifice of the body, the entire being should be transformed by the renewing of the mind so as not to be conformed to this world, but to be conformed to the good, the acceptable, and the perfect will of God.
