LIFT Daily Prayer: Thanks Be to God for the Victory

• December 18, Thursday, 352 days in, 13 days left. We are in 1 Corinthians 15:57. Thanks, but thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a verse that is absolutely universal, isn’t it? I can use it everywhere, anywhere, on anything. This is like one of those tools that you can use for whatever, right? It’s it’s a verse that does the same.
• So, so powerful. 1 Corinthians 15:57, but thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. So before we pray in a moment, I’m going to ask you to be thinking what is that thing, that issue, that event, that thought, the past, the day, the the future. What is it? What is it that you need victory over through our Lord Jesus Christ? I want you to be thinking about that.
• You don’t have to put it in the comment section. Some of it might be personal in the sense that it should be kept private. God knows the details. But every single one of us, folks, this morning, we all need first Corinthians 15:57. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. So the issue or the point is what do we need victory over? Answer the flesh, temptations, fear, um lack of faith could be t some some very tangible thing, some very physical thing.
• sickness, cancer, relationship. Please friend, listen. Thanks be to God. Why? Why should I thank God? Because he gives us the victory. Oh, how’s he going to do that? Through our Lord Jesus Christ. There’s a trinity of application here. Thanks be to God. That’s what we do. He gives us the victory. God does it. And he does it through our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning. And we have each and every single one of us have so much to add to this prayer request. We need you, Lord, this morning. to manifest your presence into areas of our lives, Lord, that we welcome you into this morning. Collectively, we are praying for one another, Father, and we come to you collectively.
