LIFT Daily Prayer: Strong in the Power of His Might | December 28, 2025
-
Good morning to all of you today. Here we go. Busy day, right? Wonderful day. A day to serve one another by serving Jesus, right? Each person we come in contact with today um will be an opportunity to serve Christ and that’s going to be an awesome awesome thing. I want to make sure and encourage all of you to confirm and to reconfirm that your faith is anchored in Jesus and no one else and nothing else.
-
As the days of testing come upon us, we must look to him and be ready to put his word in our hearts and to live it out. So when you go to church today, pay close attention to the scripture. Pay close attention to the Bible verses. Pay close attention to what I hope you experience is expositional teaching where the verse and the chapter is dissected.
-
Um, very important because it’s exactly what we’re going to do here in our brief moment together on Sunday, December 28th. Can you believe it? Ephesians 6 verse 10. Ephesians 6 verse 10. Paul says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.” Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
-
It is impossible for you and I to fathom the strength of the Lord. His ability to be strong. We cannot fathom. And it’s also impossible for us to know the power of his might. I can speculate only that we will know that in eternity, but even that is a guess to me. Will we ever know or see how strong he is and how powerful he is? I don’t know.
-
Will we be able to see and understand then when his judgment is poured out upon the lost and a world that is Christless? Will we then observe the strength of the Lord and the power of his might? I don’t know. But it is it must be in some way beautifully terrifying if that makes sense. Finally, my brethren. So that’s a good thing.
