What’s wrong with the ocean? It’s awesome. And uh the beautiful thing is that he is going to take care of that wonderfully. He’s going to use water. There may not be a sea like you and I know that will be something in the way of water that is better. Maybe there are incredible lakes. We know that there’s rivers in in eternity in heaven, both on earth in the millennium and in eternity forever.

Uh and he’s going to make it amazing. So, we will not be disappointed. That’s for sure. But John said when he saw right near the end of his remarkable revelation given to him called the book of revelation. John said, “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth.” And a lot of you might be surprised to realize that the new heaven and the new earth um is the sovereign work of God.

It is the is the um obviously the re the the reconstruction of God. But what you may not be catching is that when Revelation 21 is spoken of, this is after the millennium. This is after the thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will come back and rule and reign on this earth for a thousand years. That’s called a millennialism.

That means we who believe the Bible literally believe that when it says he’s going to come back for a thousand years and reign that he’s not going to do it symbolically. He’s not going to do it by some sort of typology. He’s going to actually do it. After the thousand years, Satan is cast away and destroyed right in Hades or sorry, not Hades, but in uh the abuso or the the uh the bottom the bottomless pit. Satan is done.

It’s over for him. Confined forever after the thousand years. this Revelation 21:1 when John said, “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea.” It’s it’s hard for us to fathom this, but the same verbiage applies. Do you remember? Of course, in Genesis when God destroyed the earth by water.
