December 26th, Friday. [clears throat] And um I hope you had an awesome, awesome day yesterday. It is 5:00 straight up. And let’s pray together. And let’s get the Lord always before us, always ahead of us. It’s a great way to live and to rest in him. And uh boy, I tell you, as this year begins to come to an end, I think I’ll share more each day each day as we wind down the year now the next few days.

But talk about the Lord going before us. how I have learned this year more than ever to make sure that I just rest in his ability to lead that I rest in his promised word that he’s given us. [sighs] H it’s been so so valuable and so you know so impossible but with God all things are possible you know so his word leading us and we’ll do the same this morning very very well-known portion of scripture Romans 8:2 Romans 8 verse2 for the law of the spirit of life.

For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death one more time quickly and then we’ll kind of unpack it. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. There’s a lot here in this sentence and it’s amazing.

So there’s a law that God has ordained throughout all eternity. Probably it’s safe to say that it is the law of his nature for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Our God is eternal life. And our God desires to give those who come to him on his terms eternal life. And his terms are good for you.

His terms are the best for you if you’ll just trust him. And he has made us free from the law of sin and death. So there’s a lot going on here. There’s several laws being spoken of. There’s the law of sin and there’s the law of death, but there’s the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. What a powerful thing. So you’ve got these these dueling powers if we can put it this way.
