As always, you guys want to encourage you to to um send an email. All of you guys have got email and send an email out to your friends and family and people and say, “Hey, um, consider joining us, uh, for prayer at 5:00 a.m. specific time and to invite people to this because I’m hearing great reports from people about how much this has affected their lives and uh the discipline of their lives and um my goodness, I got a wonderful email the other day from a couple who They um long story short they started doing this with us

together and it’s affected their marriage tremendously and they were they sent me a letter just saying thank you the praying the Bible together has had this profound effect on their home and their marriage and that’s the some of the best news you can hear and I’m sure you we cannot go through this word his word like this without someone also coming to faith in Jesus.

So invite people to join us and so we are right at it. So let’s go. It’s this listen to this. Second Kings chapter 6. So 2 Kings chapter 6 it I’m going to read verse 16 but it’s really verse 17. But 2 Kings chapter 6 verses 16 and 17. So Elijah answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

” Verse 17. And Elijah prayed and said, “Lord, I pray, open my servant’s eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elijah. This is amazing because Elijah, the Assyrians are about ready to attack.

It looks like total absolute defeat as um as Israel is uh in trouble. The Assyrians are revving up their war machine. Elijah, the great prophet of God to the nation of Israel. And his servant was freaking out because he said, “That’s it. We’re we’re going to get annihilated. We’re going to be destroyed.” And so Elijah tells him, “Don’t don’t worry about that.

” So Elijah, the man of God, trusted the Lord so much and or the Lord had allowed him to see in the realm of the spirit the things that were there in their favor. And those things are none other than angelic reinforcements. So I’m going to read it one more time and then we’ll pray together. But this remarkable passage is an announcement to you and I that God not only sees what’s going on in our lives, he sees things that we cannot see.
