LIFT Daily Prayer: Day 162
-
So this is Wednesday, June 11th and um Hebrews chapter 10 verses 19 to20. Hebrews 10 19 to20 and this is what we lift up before the Lord in our prayer. And uh in fact I just want to say it this way. Lord, I’m going to read this verse and Lord, I’m going to read your scripture. And Lord, we’re going to make this our prayer time together with you uh as a family of prayer warriors and those in the fellowship of prayer.
-
when we pray Hebrews 10:19 and 20 where you’ve told us father therefore brethren having boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus by a new and living way which he consecrated for us through the veil that is his death one more time therefore by the way remember that’s a strong statement that means we we must pay attention to it therefore brethren Notice who he’s talking to.
-
You are a child of the living God if you’ve trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior. God says to you here, you can now have boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus. This is awesome because it’s not a holy of holies on earth. Remember this. This is so cool. When Jesus rose again from the dead, he never offered his blood as a high priest, our great high priest, in any or at any earthly temple.
-
Nope. Thank God. He presented his blood, the book of Hebrews tells us, before the father which is in heaven, in the altar or at the altar which is in heaven. That’s awesome. What? In a thousand ways, it’s awesome. Number one, Jesus did it. Number two, it was his blood. Number three, it was out of the reach of any thief, any rioter, any any any rottness, any evil.
-
No one can steal your salvation. No one can take it away. It’s settled by Christ himself with his blood before his father at the throne in heaven above. No wonder why it says have boldness. And we do that by a new and living way. Who’s that? It’s not so much of a what. It’s a who.
-
Who is that living way? You know who he is. Which he consecrated for us. That means what he did, he’s done. It’s done. What he did, he has done it. And it’s not going to be undone. Isn’t that awesome? So, well, pastor, I I don’t know if I’m saved or not. Do you believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins? Your sins personally? Have you taken your sins to him? Do you believe he rose again from the grave? Okay, listen.
