Hope you guys are keeping your faith and your focus on Jesus in these days more than ever. Crazy crazy days out there. But we seek him and we pursue him and we just my I think our whole family our biggest prayer is Lord keep us close to you. Keep us near you. It’s the best place to be. Good morning.
coming up on 2,000 of you. So, it’s just now 5:00. We’ll wait a few more seconds here. Um, and we’ll get uh we’ll get close to 3,000 of you here in a moment. And that’s what I see. That’s 3,000 on Facebook. I I know that there’s others joining us on other platforms, and to be honest with you, I don’t know what those are. So, all right. Good morning.
Good morning. Okay, here we go. So, it’s May 21st. I think we’re about 142 days uh together today. And uh Psalm 25:15. Psalm 25:15 says, “My eyes are ever toward the Lord.” That’s what I was just talking about a moment ago. For he shall pluck my feet out of the net. We’ll talk about this in a we’ll pray this in a second.
My eyes are ever toward the Lord. Ask yourself this question, my friend. Are your eyes ever toward the Lord? Now, if you say, “Yep, awesome.” And that’s God that’s done that in your heart and that’s great. If you’re saying, “I think so.” Or, “I’m not sure.” That’s okay. That’s what we’re here today for. You’re going to want to ask Jesus to cause your eyes to ever be toward the Lord.
And that is remember those blinders they put on horses that they would be absolutely focused ahead. Look at nothing else, nor their distraction, right? That’s why they called them blind blinders. Uh there’s nothing else going on in the world. That h that horse is running with no other thing in sight.
You hope anyway, right? Although other horses would be behind you, you’re running toward the finish line. So look at it that way. My eyes are ever toward the Lord. Okay? My eyes are fixed on him, set anchored to him, glued to him. And here’s the great news. For or because he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Whatever is holding us back, let’s get rid of it today.
He wants us to run the race, looking straight ahead. No distractions. No distractions. I can hear people saying to me this, that, the other, as though they were excuses. Well, I’m a student. Finals are this week. My I want that. I want the promotion. I don’t care what it is. We have all been tempted by that.
