Good morning. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 31. Hebrews 11:31 this morning. And again, I’ll repeat it. It’s just now uh 4 59 right now. And uh so we’ll stall just a little bit. Good morning. God bless you guys wherever you are in the world. The Lord strengthen you and bless you and empower you today with his goodness. So hope you guys are well.

The news is absolutely uh uh remarkable because I say remarkable uh because of knowing the Bible, right? You’re watching the news, the world news. And um isn’t it something? Don’t you think it’s amazing that uh the the world news, the most important news, the breaking news, um that it’s always centered in the Middle East, no matter what’s going on.

I mean, there can be an event like the horrific events of of 911, for example, 2001, but it had roots to the Middle East, right? uh there can be an issue or news in China about something they’re doing. Um but they’re doing it because they want to um control or do something in the Middle East. It’s amazing that here we are, we know the Bible, we love the word of God.

And how much of what you and I um hear, watch, and see in the news has to do with not only the Middle East, but most often in some ways connected to Israel or Jerusalem. And it’s just absolutely awesome because of your Bible, God’s word to us, the accuracy of it is that it tells us in the last days more and more of the focal point of the world will be upon not only the Middle East, but Jerusalem and Israel.

And um wow. And I’m wondering if that’s why so many people avoid the Old Testament because it’s the Old Testament that makes those announcements to be watching for that and what to look for. Then of course the New Testament um has prepared us uh to discern such days as they come upon us. Okay. 501 right now. Good morning everybody.

It is Hebrews 11:31. We won’t read the whole verse. Um, we don’t need to because of what we’re focusing on today in our prayer. And it is this. By faith, the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe. By faith, the harlot Rahab, this is obviously at Jericho. This is um the first encounter as it were of the children of Israel into the promised land.
