• I hope you guys are well and that I hope and pray that you have a Bible teaching church in your area where you live nearby. And sometimes you have to drive. If you don’t have a a church that’s following the Lord, you might have to drive a little bit, but it’s worth it. And if all if that all is not possible to you, if you’re you don’t have a church nearby, if you don’t have a church that you can drive to, then um here’s what I would encourage you to do.
• I would encourage you, first of all, I would this is what I encourage you not to do. As much as it is possible, do not do not do church alone because it’s not church. Do everything you can to not forsake the assembling together. And you might say, “Well, there’s no churches in our area that’s teaching the word of God.
• ” Make sure that your assessment of that is in fact true. Remembering there are no perfect churches. But if there’s a church that can possibly be prayed onto or into the right lane, then maybe you can minister and serve at that church just by attending and praying for it. But if it is woke, if it has departed from orthodoxy of Christianity, then do what thousands and thousands of people are doing these days in light of a postcoavid uh really post-Christian nation America is get um get your neighbors together and then invite them over to your house
• and you and join with us, right? You can you can live stream or you can do video on demand re you can replay sermons but you you this is what you need to do um is in fact it’s what we did when Lisa and I moved from Huntington or Huntington Beach Costa Mesa next door Costa Mesa when Lisa and I lived in Costa Mesa right across the street from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa we had our two little girls and we moved moved from Costa Mesa to Chino Hills and we tried to make the drive.
• It was difficult and inevitably what happened is that we invited people to a home Bible study. Um, you can do the same thing, but don’t do church alone. So, here we go. I’ve talked too long.
