I was just outside and uh just beautiful black sky, beautiful stars and a great morning coming on and you you can’t you know you can’t get up like you guys are right now. You can’t get up in the morning early before dark. You cannot get up without thinking this is the day that the Lord has made, right? He kept you through the night. Um he’s given you this morning.

He’s given you today. And um as much as we know he’s given us today, it’s not for us to conclude. It’s it’s for us to honor him with it. He’ll conclude it. But just think someday you guys no matter what please please be encouraged that no matter what is the mode by which you and I walk through the valley of the shadow of death if it’s uh through cancer or sicknesses or accidents or falls or crashes it to the believer that doesn’t matter.

uh by whatever means we see our last day for who knows but for me or for you or for us this could be our last day on earth you don’t know I don’t know but doesn’t that doesn’t that reality bring you hope and just when I say hope I don’t mean oh I hope so I mean the assured confident hope of knowing our God brings us great peace, great comfort that he will never abandon the work of his hands and you are far more important than his hands at work in creation and nature and all of that.

If he’s faithful to that, how much more will he be faithful to bring you into the kingdom of heaven? If you are trusting in Jesus, right? You trust the fact that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. That Jesus died in your place because he is your atonement. He is your mediator. He is your sacrifice. And by faith in him and him alone.

But listen, the Bible says that but by no works of righteousness shall we that should we be justified before God. So I know I mean look there’s a high probability that some of you are on this prayer meeting right now and you don’t understand that but I want you to read my goodness uh read start out this way um read the book of Ephesians takes such a short period of time and then go read Galatians the book of Galatians um and then go read the book of Romans those three books books will transform you into understanding his salvation fully.
