Listen, have you ever been challenged with this thought in your mind that you’re often too focused on yourself? I know that sounds crazy, right? That in the world that you and I live in, it is so self-absorbed. It’s everything is about self. But I want to encourage you according to the Bible, there’s great liberty and freedom knowing that you can be set free from self-focus.

Self-focus. Friends, listen. All of us deal with it and it cripples us. And so, this message that we’re going to be looking at today is one that is going to test you and I to determine whether we truly are real believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Because the bottom line is this.

True biblical Christianity is all about others, not about ourselves. Yes. Listen, let God love you. He loves you. Let him love you. Let him take care of you. Jesus said, “Don’t worry about your life.” Why? because he is taking care of you. He’s called us to love and to take care of others. And so, have you ever thought about this? That when you focus on yourself, have you noticed you’re more depressed? You might even be suicidal.
