in a fallen world you need to make the most of your time even more so when you’re in heaven you don’t have to make the most of your time CU it’s all going to be forever but here you do there is there’s setbacks there are limitations here there are distractions there’s also cause of the Fall there’s death you have to make the most of your time so then be careful how you walk not as unwise people but as wise be careful how you walk you don’t want to walk live your life that means how you live your life you can do it foolishly or you can
do it with wisdom be sober next verse making the most of your time or re because the days are evil time with all the things that are wasable time has to be at the top of the list it is precious you can you can lose things and get them back but you can’t get back time time contains everything else we only get our moments once and we only have less time every day than we had the day before as far as our time on Earth and so many of you well most of us or all of us first of all living in the 21st century also living in the Northeast we’re running
we’re rushing there’s never enough time and also with so much you we have so many Time Savers everything to save us time and we have less time than our grandparents did how did that happen we’re running and you you you I just don’t have the time in the day I don’t have time there are many seminars on on time management there are books on that generally with the idea make the most of your time so you can be successful make more money well the money’s going to vanish the time’s going to vanish but for believers the subject of time
management or making the most of your time is even more important because you know we’re on Earth not to not to make money but not to do the we’re on Earth for Eternal purposes for purposes that are forever and yet on Earth we have a limited time for purposes that are forever you’re determining your eternity so how precious is this time now and that makes time management or our our our Redeeming the time infinitely more valuable and crucial we are all given a certain amount of time we’re given the same amount of time every day and every
day every hour we’re given the same amount same minutes same seconds and yet but how much we will accomplish for God and fulfill our calling will be determined by what we what you did with a time that was given to you and there are some people they will do more and some do less yet we are given the same amount of time the great people of faith in the scripture had to manage their time redeem their time for the Lord make the most of their time from Moses to Paul and before and after we need to learn the same Keys make the most of
your time what the Bible is saying here in Ephesians it says so make the most of your time but the context is this verse 14 for this reason it says awake sleeper and arise from the dead and Messiah will shine upon you it’s it’s a quote it’s going from Isaiah 60 it’s saying that most people are asleep in the world spiritually asleep darkness and you can look at that when you look at the world you say how could they do what they’re doing they’re spiritually asleep when you’re asleep you’re not aware of what’s happening and so you have that
has to do with sin but it also here has to do with time there’s an illusion in this world about time that that like We Have Forever on this in this world well we don’t but it’s the illusion things just keep going on and on and on until they don’t we have this idea and that’s that leads us to waste time because we are going as if we have so much of something when you think have so much of something you waste it and so here it says awake don’t go don’t live like that don’t waste your days don’t it says then so then be careful how you walk now it
says that’s what I just read not as unwise but as wise sober and then it says making the most of your time you are not sleeping you are awake you know this is not forever you are of Eternity but this life is not of Eternity therefore make the most of your time interesting cuz the Greek word here when it says it’s translated make the most in some of your Bibles can mean can be translated purchase the time as if the moments of your life have a price on them and you can’t fully use them unless you purchase them in some way there’s a
