Experience divine health and transformation by understanding and receiving the provisions secured for you through the finished work of Jesus Christ. This teaching emphasizes that healing is a gift to be received by faith, not something to wait for God to initiate. Since God has already provided everything necessary through the cross, the response required from believers is to accept and declare that provision.
The Foundation of Faith and Receiving Grace
The process of receiving divine healing and spiritual breakthrough is rooted in an active faith that grows through continuous exposure to scripture.
Faith Comes by Hearing
Faith is not hard. It is developed through the Word of Christ: “Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ”. When believers consistently hear the Word, their faith grows exceedingly.
The provisions secured through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection are intended to be received by grace through faith. This means the just shall live by faith. Trying to wait for God to heal you is 2,000 years too late, as the provision has already been given. God is a respecter of faith.
Healing Manifestations: Instantaneous and Progressive
Healing can manifest in two ways, both dependent on God’s power:
- Instantaneous Healing: Healing can happen instantly, sometimes when the Word is going forth (“Bang, you are healed!”) without the person even consciously using their faith. This often occurs through the supernatural gifts of healings or the gift of faith, which operates with a “strong knowing” and no doubt.
- Progressive Healing: Healing can also happen progressively. The example of the nobleman’s son illustrates this: Jesus spoke the word, and the man believed and went his way, even though he felt no immediate sign. The son began to “amend” (improve) the moment Jesus spoke the word, manifesting full recovery the next day. This demonstrates that the Lord is the Lord of time and space; He can compress time for instant miracles or speak from a distance for distance healing.
The Significance of the Red Heifer Ashes (Purification from Death)
The sources highlight a unique Old Testament provision, the offering of the ashes of the red heifer (found in Numbers 19), which serves as a powerful type of Christ’s finished work and its application to our lives.
Provision Against Symptoms of Death
This offering was placed late in the wilderness journey to provide grace for failures and is relevant for end-times people. It provides provision against anything that “touches death,” including sickness, weakness, losing memory, dark thoughts, or symptoms of death in your life.
The red heifer, which was without blemish and had never carried a yoke, typifies Jesus. The fact that Jesus wore “no yoke” means that as a man on earth, He was never in servitude to the world’s systems, principles, or the opinions, praise, or censure of man. Believers are called to aspire to this freedom.
The Application: Washing of the Word
The heifer was burned to ashes (representing the finished work of Christ—the final form of fire) and mixed with running water (mayim chaim or living water). The application of this water and ashes was for purification from sin and contact with death.
Today, the reality of this provision is the washing of the water of the Word. When one “touches death”—such as exposure to occult philosophies in a book—they may immediately contract negative effects, like a terrible headache. The remedy is to immediately wash with the Word, which contains the ashes—the proclamation of the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The goal of New Covenant preaching (like the work of the ashes) is to cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Dead works are not just sins, but things done to try to earn righteousness or acceptance from God.
Activating Faith: Speaking and Spiritual Practice
Believers must actively engage the provided grace through specific practices.
The Power of Confession
The Spirit of faith is manifested when you believe and therefore speak. Believers must learn to confess and speak the Word of faith.
- Do not define yourself by negative feelings; feelings come and go. Do not say, “I am depressed,” but rather acknowledge the feeling while affirming your true identity.
- The speaker encourages confessing God’s promises, such as declaring, “By Jesus’ stripes I’m healed”.
The Role of Prayer and Communion
If physical healing doesn’t manifest instantly after prayer, the Lord may direct the believer on how to receive it. When the speaker suffered a severe back injury from twisting his back while carrying his son (40kg), the Lord instructed him to “Pray in the Spirit. Pray in tongues”.
